Our body continually listens to our subconscious mind. Whatever we are thinking and feeling, the body is receiving.

Why Do We Suppress Our Feelings as a Sign of Strength?

As children, many of us were taught to run, suppress, stuff, hide, or pretend that we don’t have negative emotions — but they don’t just disappear; they get lodged into our bodies, and over time, they create pain until we find healthy ways to release. Our feelings and emotions don’t disappear into the atmosphere when we are uncomfortable.
